Texas Custom Catering began, with what most would consider, just a simple love for cooking. David, along with a few friends, began to enter local BBQ competitions. Not realizing he really had a gift he was pleasantly surprised when he began to place in these competitions.
After doing this for a couple of years, he and Cheryl decided to explore small catering jobs and began to hone in on other their skills at cooking on a large scale of many family recipes. What began almost 25 years ago with BBQ competitions grew into more cooked meals, specialty seafood dishes, varieties of appetizers, desserts, and much more.
Prior to the business, David and Cheryl did not know of the local need for a specialty catering company that can handle 800 plus attendees with a variety of food options. Since then they have been requested for hundreds of weddings, corporate events, holiday parties, and much more. They even have multiple requests each year to cater events all over the state of Texas and Louisiana.
The one thing that hasn't changed is David and Cheryl's commitment to quality and the joy they receive when people are happy and pleased with the finished product. So often events can be stressful, however, if the catering is turn-key and a person has the utmost confidence in their caterer, it can make all the difference in the world.
